Entering summer, alongside the always-welcome beaches and islands for holidays and short getaways, this is the season where music fans gather in front of stages, meet their friends at music festivals, and sit in theatres to enjoy acts from around the world.

This summer, Release Athens Festival celebrates its ten-year anniversary with amazing artists like Gorillaz, David Byrne, Moby, Garbage, Jean-Michel Jarre, and The Offspring, among others, while Ejekt Festival raises the temperature in mid-July with Florence & The Machine and The Cure, to name a few.

Rockwave Festival welcomes back the dynamic Kneecap, after their extraordinary 2025 gig, while the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, beneath the Acropolis, hosts John Legend and Lykke Li.

Don’t miss the Φ Hill Sessions at Philopappos Hill and the magical Dora Stratou Theater, the always-wonderful Sani Festival in Chalkidiki — and of course all the individual concerts and productions scattered across Greece.
