“Και η άνοιξη περνάει”, as Pavlos Pavlidis sings, next to the other beloved artists that accompanied our daily life in Astralón, during the months of spring.

Spring of 2021 was the last period of the harsh Greek lockdown, a season that vaccines started to roll out, a season of endings and new beginnings, of any kind. A season where – the so called – normality started coming back to our daily life and hope sprung up.

It’s the same period that we launched our new collaboration with “United We Fly” music label, with two of its artists passing by from our Jukebox number seven. Pavlos Pavlidis, an old fellow, presents one of his 2 new songs, “‘Ανοιξη”, while Danai Nielsen shares a sensational, fresh new track, “Recycled Feelings (Club Remix)”, an echo of how we truly missed dance floors, festivals and bars, those previous isolated months.

Meanwhile, Aroof Aftab, Taylor Swift and Still Corners touched our hearts like no other, Roisin Murphy, Pet Shop Boys, Gorillaz and Fontaines D.C./ Soulwax inspired us  to shake our booties. Our jazz and soul moments are represented by the likes of George Benson, Gil Scott-Heron and Moondog, while the fantastic  “Black Gold” by Flying Lotus & Thundercat, the opening theme of “Yasuke”, Netflix’s new samurai anime, kicks off Astralón’s Jukebox as well.
