The 4th Astralón Jukebox made our peculiar summer of 2020 more lovable. Come on, indulge yourself in it!

Oh summer, oh summer of 2020. What a pain in the ass and wonderful as well. Still, full of COVID-19 surprises all around the world, stressful moments, but nonetheless with enjoyable projects to carry on and some vacation days to relax.

The 30 songs that accompanied our summer period shaped probably our most emotional playlist till now. Salty, nostalgic, inspirational and sunburned, covers many music genres and styles from various countries. From the glorious African reinvention of salsa by Angélique Kidjo to the Afro-Cuban All Stars, from Italian maestros like Ennio Morricone, Renato Carosone and Mario Biondi to sophisticated modern jazz faves like GoGo Penguin. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift’s newest folk aesthetic, and perhaps her best song, is here too, thanks to The National’s Aaron Dessner and Bon Iver, while indie pop shines thanks to HAIM, Sufjan Stevens and Khruangbin. Drop some beats by Moby, The Weeknd, Arca and Run The Jewels (featuring Pharrell Williams and, YES, Zack De La Rocha) in the mix and here you are.

Enjoy on Spotify!
