On number 14 of our seasonal playlist, you will listen to contemporary folk, rock, nu-soul, hip hop and other enjoyable slices of modern music!

Trying to recall for this new playlist some of the songs that accompanied our daily life in our office during the past months, and striving – for sure – to write the words you now read, after the devastating train crash in Greece that brought grief to everyone, we’ll just spit some of the artists that are featured here (and brought joy to us while working).

Contemporary folk is represented by the likes of Daniel Rossen, Kevin Morby and José González (who offered us a lovely concert in January, at the SNFCC’s Cosmos series), while SZA, Lil Yachty and Oddisee are some of the nu-soul’s and hip hop’s highlights of the previous months.

Depeche Mode, Everything But The Girl and Orbital came back with fabulous new releases, while our time machine pointed to us The Velvet Underground, Angelo Badalamenti (who passed away in December 2022), Barry White, CHIC and ABBA, among others.
